Hi all -- I'm living in Glendora in what I call the "family homestead" near the high school, the home my folks bought in 1963. I've got a 15-year-old chihuahua, Dickens, who was my late mother's pride and joy and is just that for me too; two sister cats, Cali (a calico) and Georgia (named after my art hero, Georgia O'Keeffe), and Jazz, an African grey parrot my late father loved to teach naughty words to. I'm an account executive at an ad & PR agency in San Marino (I'm the PR part of that description). I guess my yearbook experience at GHS paid off well enough since I worked at the San Gabriel Valley Tribune for 19 years (the final 10 as entertainment editor -- that was so much fun!), the LA Times for 6 (in a sister division, the LA Times International Syndicate), PR at the LA County Fair and now at Huntington Marketing, where I've been since 2005.
